How to submit

  1. Create the case in the Vetopathy portal. Click "Submit a Sample" at the top of the page. Include the lesion location, size, duration, any prior treatment, and your differentials. You can upload clinical photos and lab results with the submission.
  2. Choose a shipping label. Buy a discounted FedEx or UPS label in the portal, or use your own.
  3. Ship the slides to Florida. Address the package to "Vetopathy" at 506 N West St., Bushnell, FL 33513. This is a different address from biopsy samples, which go to Louisville, KY.

When the cytology points to a biopsy

If the cytology suggests a biopsy is the next step, submit the biopsy through our surgical pathology service and upload the cytology report with it. The histopathology is read by Dr. Eric Snook, DVM, PhD, DACVP, with both results in hand.
